The Océ BLM550 doubles the capability of previous technologies. It produces books with a thickness of up to 10mm and combines the four processes of saddle stitching, folding, spine forming and trimming in a single machine. Capable of producing trimmed books of up to 220 pages, the Océ BLM550 provides an elegant, state-of-the-art online book making solution for every printing environment.

Pack and stack with the flexible book maker

Finished books have the superior square spine appearance of a perfectly bound book, and the security of a stitched spine. They lie flat and are easy to pack, stack and handle. The maximum book thickness of 10mm is double that of alternative conventional book making machines, which makes that the Océ BLM550 ideally suited to producing and finishing books of up to 220 pages.

A complete Book maker in all respects

Stitching, folding, spine forming and trimming are combined to produce books of up to 220 pages with a square spine. A rotator is also included which ensures full printer production speeds are achieved when smaller books are produced. The Océ BLM550 is a complete booklet making system with an optional book stacker for high production environments. The book stacker and book maker combination is ideal for production environments and is known as the Océ BLM550 PRO.
