The Océ Arizona 350 XT printer can create huge, high quality prints on a variety of rigid media to suit nearly any display graphic application.  A Roll Media Option enables printing onto flexible media.  A White Ink Option expands printing capabilities by enabling printing on non-white and transparent substrates.

Extra width increases printing capacity for rigid display graphic prints

The extra width of the Océ Arizona 350 XT flatbed printer enables it to be used in a continuous imaging mode for rigid media up to 125 x 250 cm (a standard 4-foot by 8-foot board). Two rigid boards of this size can be mounted on separate vacuum areas of the flatbed table. While one board is being printed, the other can be changed by the operator. Since the printer never has to stop printing for a media change, you can significantly increase your net print production on boards this size.

Options expand capabilities

With the Roll Media Option installed, you can print onto display graphic flexible media up to 2.2 m (87 inches) wide. The media roll can be unloaded at any time without interrupting rigid printing, and there is no down time to reconfigure the system to change from one print mode to the other. The Océ Arizona 350 XT includes a White Ink Option that can be added at the factory or in the field. The White Ink Option enables under-printing for non-white media or objects, over-printing for backlit applications on transparent media and/or printing white as a spot colour.

If his machine pool is being fully utilised or new potential applications arise, the Managing Director of Euskirchen-based Medienkraftwerk GmbH invests in new systems. After having acquired three wide format roll-based printers from Océ, in September 2007 his shopping list included an Océ Arizona® 250 GT model for printing on rigid media. And because performance limits are there to be pushed further and further by the former race driver, an Océ Arizona 350 XT printer with White Ink Option was added in April 2008 to deal with the really big jobs.

Océ at Moedel GmbH

Direction signs, information signs, advertising signs and warning signs are needed on construction sites, inside and outside factories, and in public buildings, hotels, restaurants and shops. An increasing number of signs are made to measure or individually customised. This makes the manufacture of the signs a real challenge. Moedel GmbH Schilderfabrikation in Amberg, Bavaria, has found the perfect solution. The company uses three Océ Arizona® flatbed printers for small production runs and customised products. Océ Arizona 350 XT news

The Océ Arizona 350 XT printer complies with all relevant health and safety directives including CE, UL, CSA, BG, CCC and others.  It also complies with the European RoHS directives for heavy metal content.

The Océ Arizona 350 XT uses UV-curable inks that do not contain volatile organic compounds. It does not require an external source of compressed air, making the operational and energy costs even lower.

Viscom Innovation Award 2007

The Océ Arizona 250 GT flatbed UV printer was designated “a truly innovative product” when it won the Viscom Innovation Award 2007 in the Large Format Digital Printing category. The awards were announced during the Viscom 2007 International Trade Fair for Visual Communication, held in Düsseldorf, Germany in September 2007.

The Océ Arizona 250 GT won the Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) Vision Award, which is given to an exhibiting manufacturer whose new product has the best chance of positively impacting the digital imaging industry.  The decision is based on the product’s relevance to the market, potential industry influence and prospective value to the product’s end users. The award was presented in September 2006.
