TJ’s Visual Solutions eyes further expansion after Oce Arizona 250 GT installation

Brentwood, UK– 22 April – Brighton-based large format graphics and sign company, TJ’s Visual Solutions, has installed an Océ Arizona 250 GT, helping the company increase turnover, improve efficiency and increase productivity by 50%.

TJ’s Visual Solutions, a specialist in creating bespoke visual branding solutions, is already reaping the benefits since the recent installation of the Océ Arizona 250 GT.  Productivity has increased by 50% compared to the previous solution.  The printer’s higher print speed allows the company to produce more output within an eight-hour period, and requires less operator input.  Its significant display graphics capabilities have also opened up further business opportunities to design, advertising and marketing agencies.

Tony Jenner, Managing Director, TJ’s Visual Solutions, said “We have been an Océ customer for many years now and have always found its products perfect for our visual branding needs. We initially chose the Océ Arizona 250 GT based on its ability to print high-quality images direct to substrates, however, to our delight, the printer is also exceeding our expectations in other areas.  It has substantially increased our printing capacity and productivity, and our square meterage print price has been reduced considerably.

“The capability to print direct to substrate at a lower cost per metre and the photo-quality output have enabled us to compete for business more effectively, targeting customers and markets we could not previously compete in.  As a result of the investment, we expect to see a sizeable increase in our turnover. The printer really is in a league of its own!”

The Océ Arizona 250 GT produces a wide variety of display graphics such as point-of-purchase displays, limited-term signage, banners, event graphics, backlit and reflective rigid displays, transit advertising, and directional signage. It uses UV curable inks, Océ VariaDot imaging technology and the next evolution of piezo inkjet technology that enables a print head to produce dots of variable size, delivering near-photographic image quality.

Duncan Smith, Océ UK’s Wide Format Printing Systems director, said: “We are pleased that the benefits of the investment in the Océ Arizona 250 GT are already becoming apparent to both TJ’s Visual Solutions and its growing client base. It enables the company to deliver an even greater range of high-quality solutions across a wide range of markets, standing out above its competitors. We are very much looking forward to continuing our long and fruitful partnership with TJ’s Visual Solutions.”
