The Océ VarioStream 9000 family sets new benchmarks for black & white duplex printing – flexible to customer requirements

The Océ VarioStream 9510, Océ VarioStream 9610 and Océ VarioStream 9710 models increase printing speed, thereby increasing print productivity by up to 80 percent

Océ, the global market leader in continuous-feed printing, is enhancing the Océ VarioStream 9000 product line. Three new printing systems will set new standards in high-productivity printing with a significant increase in black & white printing speed. The Océ VarioStream 9510, Océ VarioStream 9610 and Océ VarioStream 9710 come into their own when it comes to transaction printing for single-color invoices, bank statements, mailings and also graphic arts-type applications. The printers can not only be upgraded to higher speeds, but also with one or two Océ CustomTone colors to the Océ VarioStream 9520/9620/9720 or 9530/9630/9730.

Customer requirements are of paramount importance at Océ. The Océ VarioStream 9000 technology platform for duplex printing can be enhanced by various functions on request. The product and the core technology evolve along with customer requirements. The advantage of this is that increasingly demanding jobs do not necessitate the purchase of new equipment. With a view to significantly increasing speed, Océ is introducing three new members to its product range: Océ VarioStream 9510, Océ VarioStream 9610 and Océ VarioStream 9710. All three models are targeted at the particularly high demands of users in the black & white sector.  

Océ VarioStream 9510 – high speed black & white

The new Océ VarioStream 9510 prints 1,069 A4 images 2-up per minute. This efficient, entry-level model provides high quality printing together with a significant reduction in costs. Thus, the Océ VarioStream 9510 is the ideal choice for the first stage of increasing printing speed. As with all devices in the Océ VarioStream 9000 series, the Océ VarioStream 9510 comes into its own in transaction printing for single-color invoices, bank statements or mailings. Regardless of the application, whether it be credit card statements or various official documents, the Océ VarioStream 9000 range is incredibly fast, efficient and reliable. It performs just as well in the graphic arts arena when printing textbooks and up to two extra colors can be easily integrated.
 
Océ VarioStream 9610 – the first choice for medium to high-end Volumes
The Océ VarioStream 9610 is in a class above the entry-level model and prints 1,283 A4 pages 2-up per minute. As with all the other members of the product range, this printer is especially suited to transactional applications and can be equipped with the established Océ CustomTone technology. This technology provides a large selection of spot colors and customized company colors which can be optionally integrated into the printing process. This is a further benefit in terms of future security and flexibility for the customer.  

Océ VarioStream 9710 – the speed king of the product range

With a printing speed of 1,425 A4 pages 2-up per minute, the VarioStream 9710 is the sprinting champion of the VarioStream 9000 series. Power and performance do not come any better than this. The Océ VarioStream 9000 range’s all-round, continuous-feed printing system is optimally equipped for tackling growing demands in the next few years. Because of its broad range of applications, the Océ VarioStream 9000 line is well-suited for service providers, graphics companies, banks, insurance companies and public administration.
 
A special GraphicArts option can be added to all three models for printing challenging graphics and images. During this special exposure procedure, the brightness of the character generator’s 11,000-plus LEDs is varied. This means that images can be printed to a particularly high degree of detail, an important prerequisite for printing journals which require high quality black & white reproduction of photos and graphics.
