Three prestigious industry awards for Océ

Three Océ systems receive “Pick of the Year” awards from Buyers Laboratory Inc. — Awards for high-speed black & white and color multifunction systems — All three award-winning products in strategic market segments

July 17th, 2006, Venlo, Netherlands—Océ N.V., a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, has been awarded three “Pick of the Year” awards from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI).  BLI, the leading independent office equipment test lab and business consumer advocate, honored Océ performance with Spring 2006 “Pick of the Year” awards for three high-speed black & white and color systems from Océ Imagistics, a North American division of Océ.

The three systems are:

  • im9220: “Outstanding Segment 6 Multifunctional Imaging System”

  • cm4520: “Outstanding Color Multifunctional Imaging System”

  • cm2520: “Outstanding Color Multifunctional Imaging System”

The im9220 is a high performance MFP equipped with versatile print/copy/scan plus advanced finishing and security features. The im9220 produces reliable high-speed, high-quality output at 92ppm and offers full in-house production capabilities to deliver results within a hard-driving “constant use” environment. “This unit's well-designed print drivers make it easy to produce complex print jobs and, combined with its range of finishing options, will make it a welcome addition to environments with high-volume needs,“ said BLI lab manager, Pete Emory. “It's an amazing feat that this unit misfed only once in its 750,000 impression test,” added Emory.

The cm4520 is a high-speed, high-quality workhorse MFP that ships fully featured with standard network ready printing and scanning. With 35ppm in color and 45ppm in black & white, it’s an ideal solution for everyday business document needs featuring cost-effective color for extra impact when needed.
