Océ introduces new industry leading printing system in fast-growing graphic arts market
26 September 2006, Las Vegas, United States; Venlo, The Netherlands— Océ N.V., a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today launched a new industry leading printing system for the graphic arts market with the introduction of the Océ Arizona® 250 GT. This advanced printing system brings a new standard to the fast-growing graphic arts market, enabling companies to significantly improve the image quality of outdoor advertising and banners, amongst others.
The Océ Arizona 250 GT has been developed by Océ's research center in Vancouver, Canada. The new printing system enables ink droplets to vary in size and density, creating superior near photographic images (Océ VariaDotTM imaging technology). The Arizona 250 GT will be commercially available as off early 2007. The new printing system enables customers to decrease their graphic arts printing costs considerably.
Graphic Arts market anticipate to grow continuously
Industry experts estimate the global graphic arts market at Euro 2.6 billion and anticipate the market to grow with about 6% per annum. The core of this market are digital printers, graphics screen printers, sign makers, photo labs and reprographers, producing large-scale text and images for indoor or outdoor use.
